Coal figure weaved in fluid motions, destination was unknown, mind was elsewhere. Day in and day out, one would fear the arrival of the dark mistress and the evil that tagged along. Strong resemblance was held, ivory marking distinguished brother from sister and set apart good from evil. Emerald gaze flickered back every so often to view the much smaller companion. Pace was kept even, there was no need to slow down. Moons had passed since training had passed onto his paws, leadership took time, recent events caused thought to be taken, defense was needed in dark times every feline would take them one step closer to victory, one step closer to defeating the evil that lurked.

His teal-green eyes flickered upward to meet Eveningstar's; a gentle smile creased his face. The tom shivered when drops of dew collected on his short-haired pelt and he sneezed, rubbing his nose with a blue-gray paw. Celadonpaw blinked and hastily ran after his mentor to catch up with him. "This is the MistClan border!" he said, his voice croaking a bit. He sniffed the air, smelling blood, fighting, and MistClan's famed and feared leader, Hyacinthstar. He wondered what had happened here, though the scent was faint. He was almost of warrior age now, but he still needed to patch things up since he was sick a lot.

Crimsonpaw stepped from the shadows as he heard a patrol come up to the border. 'Hello, Eveningstar. How's the prey running?' He didn't notice the apprentice, Celadonpaw. He looked over and noticed him. 'Hello, young one, who may you be?' He felt old to be called an apprentice himself, because he spent half his life chasing his brother around. [/size]

Celadonpaw peeked out from behind Eveningstar and saw the tom on the MistClan side. He blinked his gentle eyes and cleared his throat. "I'm Celadonpaw!" he said, irritated with the fact that it came out as a squeak rather than a simple statement. "Eveningstar's training me!" He flashed a grin that melted away into a coughing spasm that he hastily suppressed. "Who are you, MistClanner?"

Cloaked figure stopped in mid step, only to turn and face the newcomer. A slight nod was given in acknowledgment of his statement. Gaze flickered to view Celadonpaw silently before replying to Crimsonpaw, It runs. Such are dangerous times to be out alone he stated evenly. No emotion was given way in his reply, he had stated a fact nothing more, nothing less. In truth, it didnt matter to him if Hyacinthstar chose to allow cats, especially apprentices to be out alone when the likes of Silhouette roamed freely, unchallenged and hidden. All that mattered to him was the safety of his own Clan for now, harsh as it sounded, such was truth.
