This is the part of the river that divided MistClan and HiddedClan. Many cats have drowned in this part of the river, where the water runs swiftly through many rapids.

Growing in this small meadow there is a wide variety of Herbs. There is also a little stream in it's heart that marks the border. Along the edge there are a few scattered Twoleg nests, with catnip nearby. Here is the border with OceanClan and MistClan. There is a path through here to the Sacred Places where cats may go through unharmed if their purpose is there.

There is a swamp surrounding rocks that cats walk on to get to the other side of the border. This is the border between MistClan and WhisperClan. The swamp is filled with stunted dead or dying water cypress trees. Elders tease apprentices of stories of swamp monsters, but it is true that there are many skeletons of those trapped in the dangerous bog.

Though less watery than the Swamp Lands, the Ebony Forest is still marshy. The fauna here consists of black cypresses, black pines, lilypads, lichen, and fungi. There is a path through here to the border, guarded by deadly fly agaric mushrooms that live by the pines.
