Robinstar gazed over her clan. She called to her clan, and announced Hickorypaw.'Hickorypaw, please step forward. You have waited long enough for your mentor. Your mentor shall be me.' She raised her head nd chanted Hickorypaw. Then se touched noses with her apprentice. She raised her head among the cheering and sniffed. Hiddenclan! Intruders! Secretclan!' Fear raised at her, clawing at her to succumb to her wishes.
Meanwhile, Revenge crawled through the undergrowth with Thunderstep, Sinistra, Hailsmoke, Darkfur, Volethrush and Jester.Spread out and creep up, but don't forget, we are only going for Sorrowfrost, Mythtail, and Littlewing. Oh no, they scented us. Charge!

Wolftail perked her ears, alert. She swiveled her head side to side, aware that she could only see out of one eye. Cats came crashing through the protective bushes surrounding camp. Wolftail crouched low, growling, "What are you doing here in HiddenClan?!" she snarled. She pounced the nearest cat, which was Thunderstep, her claws raked fur and her tooth caught skin.

Jester smiled at the thought of fighting. He leaped at Wolftail, pushing the other rogue aside. He clawed his claws down the side of her head, feeling blood. Sweet dreams, kittypet.. He snarled.
Volethrush thrust her head into the clearing, finding Littlewing. Then she slid out her claws, and in one second, had the cat pinned. Littlewing hissed, but was powerless. Volethrush knocked her out and dragged her away.
Darkfur wouldn't budge. Attack her sister's clan? She shook her head and leaped at a random Hiddenclan cat, who clawed her. Then Darkfur fled.
Mythtail leaped at revenge, scoring his claws down the tom's head. Leave here, you mousedung. He hissed.

Revenge twisted around and grabbed the cat by the scruff.'You're coming with me!'
Thunderstep felt the claws rake across him. He turned and attacked the cat who attacked him. Then his eyes found the cat. I can't attack the deputy! He broke free and fled.
Robinstar watched this in horror. She jumped at Volethrush, who had Littlewing. Leave her, you traitor!' She raked her claws down his back. She pounced on him, hoping to catch him.

Wolftail hissed with fury as Thunderstep fled. She yowled in pain as claws caught her fur and raked down the side of her head. The deputy flipped around to face her attacker, and pounced on him. She pinned Jester to the groud, snarling, and raking her hind claws across his stomach, "Never. Call. Me. A kittypet!"

ooc;;Volethrush is a SHE.
bic;;Volethrush turned her head, feeling claws rake down her side. Stark terror shone in her eyes. Please, Robinstar! If I don't, I'll die! she pleaded with the she-cat. She dropped Littlewing, who fell to the ground, unconcious. Please, Robinstar! She screeched when claws ripped through her fur and she began to sob. Please, Robinstar! Have mercy! She cried.

'Volethrush! Hide in the warrior's den! We will protect you!' Robinstar withdrew her claws from Volethrush. She picked up the unconsious warrior and proceeded to bring her back to camp. She was stopped by Thunderstep, who attacked Robinstar and grabbed Littlewing and took off. He didn't even see Volethrush. Robinstar fell to her side, blood pouring out of a wound. She stared at Volethrush, willing her to help the leader. Robinstar started to choke. She fell unconsious.
Meanwhile, Revenge was fighting with Mythtail. He grabbed the tom by the head and bit his ear.

Mousetooth turned away from the Secretclanner and dashed towards her unconscious leader. "Robinstar? Robinstar, you there?!" she called to Robinstar. The she-cat shrugged slight, and heaved a breath. She gasped in surprise as something bowled her over, she turned to see a rogue, What're rogues doing here? She shrugged the question away and pounced it, sending it away with it's tail between it's legs.

Nightfall obscured her figure, trifiling light descended from the buoyant Moon to reveal an outline moving fleetly across the extent of the land. Pause in midstep allowed the light rays to reveal a dainty she-cat. Cerulean spheres surveyed and fixated upon the camp entrance. Steps were trivial as they brought her ever closer to the place she referred to home. A hushed sigh escaped her. At first glance all was quiet, she caught glimpses of cats on the outskirts of the camp, though little commotion was underway.
All was well, yet a sense of lonliness clouded her mind. In reality she was alone, no friend had been made during her apprenticeship and many wouldnt give her the time of day. Sorrowfrost, in the true sense of the word, was an empty shell of her former self. To her intuition she had little to look forward to, her life simply repeated itself quite often. Musing often brought her to wonder if there was more to life then this. Every day was near the same thing, if it wasnt hunting it was patrolling. The thought of battles made her seize, to think, some could die while others would lay wounded, sometimes coming to permenant injuries which could lead to lifelong changes.
Azure gaze was set to the distance, as if seeing past all what blocked her way to happiness. Orbs dropped to view the ground, such were not thoughts a clan cat should have, their duty and purpose was to defend and provide for the clan. Yet, so many were happy with such a life, she was not. All the violence and fighting, it didnt seem like the type of life anyone could be happy with. Lives were risked everyday, she couldnt imagine leaving the clan, but surely there had to be more then this? All knew the answer, and she knew it as well as they did, this was her life and she was bound to do such, she would be unhappy, but who would know?
At the call of an assembly she took her place, ears occasionaly flicking. No words were uttered for Hickorypaw, the rogues provided a distraction. Swiftly maneuvering past the battling she made her way to Robinstar who now lay upon the turf. Their leader was unable to be contacted and such was unhelpful. Unearthlike gaze scanned her surroundings, there wasnt much she could do for her leader, but protect her while she was down. Senses were alert and muscles were tense, she was prepared to defend at any second, she didnt know why they were here, though many clans had been raided and several cats taken, no doubt it would happen once more.

Volethrush felt the claws leave her fur, and whispered a thank you. Then she watched the leader be knocked down and clawed. Robinstar! She grabbed the leader's scruff between her teeth and dragged her to the medicine den, where they both hid from the fray. She began to lick the wounds of the fallen leader, and prayed to Starclan that she would live.
Mythtail hissed. He felt claws dig into the side of his head, and teeth rip through his ear. He struggled to get away, and finaly felt the claws retract from his head. He leaped at Revenge, claws meant for the eyes. This cat would pay. He would pay for all the cats he'd taken. He had watched the exchange between Volethrush and Robinstar, and was horrified at the rebellion in Secretclan, all of the cats against the warrior code, savage animals. There's no way you're taking me alive... The tom snarled, and clawed at the tom some more.
Jester laughed. You think words are going to slow me down? He laughed hysterically. The tom threw the deputy off of him with pratcitced ease. Time to die, freakshow, He snarled, leaping at her. He felt claws meet in skin, and began to claw.
Thunderfoot saw the battle, and he dropped his prey at the entrance of the camp. Oh no! He cried. Then he stretched his claws, and leaped at a rogue, not caring who it was, and began to claw. He clawed for his clan, but most of all, for the cats who have been taken, and theo nes who have died.
Huntercrown leaped on Jester, only to feel a set of claws, sharpened, dig into his side and throw him away. He hit the ground and did not move.

Torn in death...
Sorrowfrost? Sorrowfrost! Where are you? Such as one the job to protect, burdened by the responsibility to one's clan. The cat looked to the medicine cat's den, and noticed she was there.Oh Sorrowfrost, I thought I lost you... He had run up to her. Scorchedleaf knew not that a certain cat was creeping up on to him. It was too late, the great deputy attacked the distracted tom. Scorchedleaf knew only that he was laying on the ground, bleeding out his life. Robinstar had stirred, and got up. 'Scorchedleaf? No! Bluecourage lifted her head from a battle. She heard the cry. It could not be true. Falconstorm ran over to her mother. It's okay, it's okay...
Crimsonpaw had followed his brother's scent. Not Hiddenclan now! He ran into the camp, not worrying about being seen. He found his brother and jumped onto him.Crimson! What are you doing? Revenge! You killed a warrior! Have you no respect? Crimsonpaw basically took a spaz on Revenge, clawing up his fur. Revenge easily shook off his brother. He pinned the little apprentice under him. How old are you, weakling? I knew you were tailing me. Why do you think I attacked Mistclan personally? I was going for you, but did not find you... Run home now, before I kill you. Crimsonpaw got free of Revenge and took off.
Reunited in passing

Battle raged on and many were wounded. The rogues, though humble in numbers, were proficient in battle. Blood that had seeped from wounds now established itself in small pools. Bittersweet liquid radiated in the light, inferior yet enchanting. The injured fought on and the battle was far from won. Rigorous and unrelenting the battle went on, severity of wounds were forgotten, the only thing that mattered was the safety of the camp and those cobtained within it. They were taught to work as a tandem and in time such training would hopefully prevail.
Fleeting look was given to her father, he was always there for her in time of need. Portal opened to reply though was stopped short as a glimpse of Revenge was caught only before attack was laid on Scorchedleaf. A trill was released without thought and by instinct her paws carried her to his side, such reminded her of her own injuries which were only just healed. In time she wouldnt remember laying down beside him, but she knew little of healing and therefore could not help. She rest beside him for support, so he knew she was there and wouldnt leave him alone.
A pleading look entered her spheres, he couldnt die on her, he was all she had left. Her father had grown so close to her, what she would do without him she didnt know. Beseeching him with soft words, she was oblivious to the battle and the tears that had sprung from her orbs. In reality would would do anything for her father, even if it sent her to StarClan. Rage boiled within her, Revenge had saved them in a time of need yet struck down her father, he was nothing more then a traitor. Harsh feelings set aside her attention went to her father and the help he needed.

Pleas of one...
The mighty cat stared at Sorrowfrost. He remembered saving her from Whisperclan. I... I don't know what came over me... Revenge took off, looking for Mythtail.
The injured cat was fighting another battle. With medicine cats busy tending to other wounds, the cat was suffering. Infection would surely spread. In limbo between life and death, Scorchedleaf had memories, ones that happened not too long ago. He fell into a coma remembering them.
The light shone brightly as Scorchedleaf and Sorrowfrost sat together. Scorchedleaf had heard her speak for the first time in a long time. The lightness and happiness fell from the thought, and reformed in the den, where Leafpool was trying to help Sorrowfrost. He had lain beside Sorrowfrost, urging her to carry on. It all faded from his mind, where blackness only lay.
Struggles of another...
Volethrush forgotten, Robinstar ran to Sorrowfrost. What happened? She quieted. The tom cat was twitching slightly, the tip of his tail moved. The cat, subdued and injured as he was, raised his head a few millimetres, hardly noticable. Sorrowfrost... I did my job... your mother would be proud... I protected.. you.. from him... His head dropped, and he fell into a slumber, from which he may not awaken. Robinstar called into the den. Leafpool! Starpaw! We need a medicine cat over here now!
Scorchedleaf was standing up. It was a dream, he knew. A cat was shown to him. A cat he had not thought about for a long time. His mother stepped from the shadows. You are in the paws of Starclan right now. He looked around. There was Froststar, his old leader, there was Darkwhisker, Robinstar's love, and many more cats he knew and admired. Please, I need to take care of my daughter. She is my life! Please! The cats looked at him. Hush, young one, you have a long life ahead of you. Blackness obscured, and he could no longer see the cats, only smell them. He fell into unconciousness once more.
Combined will help him live

A vociferation of agony was her only response to him, she supplicated and pleaded with him to hold on longer, he was all she had and loosing him would be like loosing her heart on the way. If he was irrevocable she would blame herself, Revenge would pay for the pain and grief he caused. Pensive gaze transferred to Robinstar, simply shaking her head she echoed in perturbed tones, Revenge... the sentence was caught off as she realized her father was no longer with them, for now anyways. Tremoring marginally she refused to move from his side, he had stayed by hers and she would return the favor.
Not so long ago she had regained vocalization, she had been an elect mute for quite some time and yet he loved her still the same. Words seemed to be strangulated within her throat, she was at a loss for words even now. Through everything he supported her, though she may not have always agreed, he had. It seemed like only yesterday he confessed his relation to her, though she had not hated him for such, the hesitation to tell her was understandable.
All she had ever wanted, was to make him proud of her. Sorrowfrost wanted him to praise her for her accomplishments for but him, support she dearly lacked. So many times she had over exerted herself to make him proud, she had tried to be the best apprentice he would ever have. In truth, she only needed him, as long as she knew her father loved her she would be happy. Sorrowfrost had lived so long without knowing and yet she felt as if she had known her whole life. Raised by a family not her own, yet now loved by her father.
Little was known about her mother, all she knew was that Scorchedleaf had never stopped loving her even in her death. It was a shame, she had never really met her birth mother, would, had not died, would have raised her. Though her father had missed many of those beginning moons, he had made up for them already. He seemed to genuinely care about her and had proved such to her time and time again. Though she was aware of what went on between him and Leafpool. she didn't hate him for it, he deserved happiness and if that was the way to get it then so be it. What she didn't know was how they had broken off their, what one might call, and 'affair'.
Remaining in place, she could feel his vital fluid saturating into her own pelt. Little mind was paid to this, she cared only about saving his life, not how she was feeling. A string of soothing words still recounted from her voice box. Her eyes, only for him, her thoughts, only for him. She was unaware of the comings and goings around her. All that mattered to her was the survival of her father. He was like the air she breathed, the reason she woke up every morning. She need him, not wanted, but needed.

Spoken as a whisper in the dark...
Robinstar realized that this was a sentimental moment between Scorchedleaf and Sorrowfrost. She backed off. Falconstorm, I'm fine, go back into the fight. I'm fine Falcostorm nodded and left.
Scorchedleaf, awaking from his world of darkness, heard the murmured words. With the strength he could muster, he lay his tail over the she-cat's shoulders. It is not worth it, young one. I am here. He did not want her to go to Revenge and attack him, because he could kill her. Scorchedleaf muttered something inaudible. Such as a whisper in the dark, it could be heard for a short length. Your mother always loved you, do not forget that... He struggled, trying to move. His legs would not respond. Panicked, he thought he was paralyzed. In fact, it was just that he was too weak to move them. Feeling an eerie tingling sensation, the infection was coming. He could feel it. It was coming, and could strangle him. The black pit opened again, this time not because of Sorrowfrost, but because of the injuries of Revenge. He fell into it, not knowing where it ended. Robinstar noticed a slight odour. Oh no! Infection!
Are heard by the ones they love

Wolftail nodded her thanks to Huntercrown and turned. She swiveled her head side to side, looking for a new enemy. The she-cat spotted Robinstar. the she-cat deputy ran up to her leader, "Robinstar! Do you know what they're doing here?"

The urge to counter with something was vast. He was being so decisive it was hard to have any room for doubt. The satiating incense of infection was growing stronger and the tumult she released was that of dolor. Watery molecules had slowly reached a hindrance. Living a life like this was a plauge to her. She had tried to be the warrior she was expected to be but dropped below expectancy and standards. All he pain and grief in the lfie she lead was too much for her to handle, injuring another disconcerted her, why cause another pain, where was the point? Yet the petulance that Revenge had caused awakened her hatred.
Sorrowfrost was hardly heedful to all common sense. It was spite and vengance that drove her forward. He has assured her that everything was okay, and yet she couldnt fathom it. Had she been thinking evidently she would have known her actions were nothing but a sunstandard idea. In reality, the only thing that was to happen, would be to receive mutilation. Sorrowfrost had small build and fragile formation, she was built lightly and probably not the best in strength. She excelled in agilty, yet she was so dainty she could easily be over powered.
Gaze sought out Revenge as she pursed her own revenge. Scorchedleaf would approve of such antics but at the moment all she cared about was inflicting injury to him although the voice in her head assured her it was impossible. The force which drove her was malice, ill will and grudges. Falling upon his frame she made an impetuous movement towards him. Midstep her clwas unsheathed, she meant to do him harm. Though her heart ached and in such a fragile state with wounds of her own she held no chance, and yet hurting him, she knew, wouldnt make everything better, it wouldnt heal her father, and she would feel satisfied with herself, so why?

No idea, but I suspect for the same reason as the other clans. She turned her head to the deputy. Wolftail, please go chase the rest of them out.
Revenge turned his mighty head. He saw Sorrowfrost creeping up. All sorrow forgotten, he pounced onto the she-cat. He had not sought out Mythtail, so she would have to do.Sorry, girl, you're coming with us. Silhouette's orders. He reached for her scruff.
Thunderstep made it to the border and sat there. He did not know what had gotten into him. All he knew, was that Silhouette would be mad if results did not show to her expectations. One day, this will be a story to scare kits...

Wolftail nodded her head, and saw Revenge and Sorrowfrost. The deputy pummeled Revenge in the side and pulled him away from Sorrowfrost. "Stay away from her, you piece of foxdung!" She clawed the side of his head, or at least was aiming for it.

Jester threw out claws, slashing Wolftail's cheek. Or atleast trying to. The tom pulled the deputy off of Revenge. Go, now, Revenge! He caleld to the rogue deputy. Then he kept Wolftail busy by clinging to her back and slashing. Finally a battle he could win. The tom screamed in joy. Say your last words, because not even Starclan can help you now.. He whispered into the she-cat's ear, still slashing her.

Thump! Thump! Thump! Her pads thundered on the ground, lithe and limber muscles propelling her out from underneath a rogue. She snarled and slashed him aside, turning to her deputy. Dahliaflight exploded into the scene out of nowhere, aiming a devastating bodyslam to get Jester off of Wolftail. "Get off of her!" the brown and black tabby hissed, claws outreached to score Jester's ears and muzzle.
=====
"What is taking so long?" an ominous voice demanded. Its master was the wiry-haired angel of death, Hailsmoke, medicine cat of SecretClan. The brown, black, and white tom appeared lithely next to Thunderstep, frowning. He was deeply unimpressed with Revenge's inadequacy to put an iron hold on a victim and take it home. This was the same fiasco that had nearly brought Thunderstep--then Thunderpaw--back into the paws of Hyacinthstar. It was only thanks to the Leader's understanding that Thunderpaw was not hurt anymore. Now, Hailsmoke treated Thunderstep like a son rather than a prisoner.[/sub]

Starpaw burst out of the medicine cat den and spotted Revenge taking Sorrowfrost away! She growled and sprang at the SecretClan cat. "Get off her!" She yowled. She tried dragging Sorrowfrost away from the rouge, but Revenge was much bigger and stronger. Am I allowed to attack a warrior? Starpaw wondered in her head. She was a medicine cat apprentice, and every cat knew that medicine cats don't take part in Clan rivalry, but Revenge was different. He was a rouge, and this was for the sake of a cat. Starpaw unsheathed her claws and raked them down Revenge's shoulder.

Orbs were livid, the sense of incense within them showed only half of the comtempt she felt. Utterance was filled such such venom she herself was surprised. You deserve to die! You may have sentanced my father to death! she sassed back. Clearly, she would not go without a joust. Sanguine liquid oozed from reopened wounds and those that had been newly inflicted. Bittersweet solvent of both her father and herself soaked her pelt and though vexatious she kept on. Enervated body felt gravid, movement was difficult though she kept on.
Though little mind was paid to Starpaw she countered in taut tones. Please Starpaw forget me, my father needs your help! it was a beseech to the apprentice, she would be fine, though the survival of her father was important to her. The putrid scent of infection was clear, he needed all the help he could get. She attempted to blockade the attacks Revenge attempted though through exaustion and grief many of them were taken.
A sting almost as powerful as her remose and despondency was searing through her wounds, somewhere along the lines blood had flooded into her eyes and caused blurred vision. Revenge was but a smudge to her. Her emotions overpowered and her body gave up, surrendering herself she stopped, why fight anymore, if Scorchedleaf was to die then she would too. Her father was her reason for living, she couldnt possibly continue without him.

Starpaw gasped and let go of Revenge. She hurried over to Scorchedleaf. "I'll do the best I can, but his life is in the paws of StarClan." Starpaw murmured to herself. She used her tail to gather the packet of herbs and cobwebs that she had carried earlier. Unwrapping the packet, Starpaw took out cobwebs, marigold, and yarrow. As she pressed the cobwebs on the bleeding, Starpaw chewed up the marigold and bitter yarrow. Knowing the wound would continue to bleed, the medicine cat apprentice placed new, fresh cobwebs onto Scorchedleaf's wound. Starpaw took the poultice of marigold and rubbed it onto the injury, squeezing the juice out of the petals. "I hope StarClan know what their doing." Starpaw muttered a pray.

((o.O... I thought Jester was dead...))
Wolftail wriggled out from under Jester and left him to Dahliaflight. She turned to face Revenge, "Then why do you go back there?" she hissed at him, "Why go back to that hell?" She stared at the tomcat who was trying to take Sorrowfrost. "Will she kill you if so? Why? Can't you protect yourself? It's better to die than to do bad deeds, to take friends away from friends..." The deputy gave a ragged yowl, tears streaming from her eyes as she remembered her brother being dragged away by a Secretclanner. Herself, tears falling as she tried to retrieve her brother.
"Lakeflight!" came a ragged cry as the she-cat tried to save her brother. "Get off, you she-cat! Get off, you pitiful clannie!" bellows of cruel laughter echoed from the huge tomcat that had hold of her unconscious brother. "NO! No, no, no, no!!" Wolftail cried loudly, wet sobs interrupting every few words. The rouge only laughed evilly, his dark eyes glinting maliciously, "Shoo, you puny warrior!" Fresh tears brimmed her eyes and she darted forwards to grab hold of Lakeflight, only to be stopped by a flash of claws. The corners of her eyes showed white. Wolftail gave one last sorrowful ragged scream of agony, "LAKEFLIGHT!" before everything went dark.
She brought down a hard blow with her unsheathed paw, aiming for Revenge's head, "Family away from family?!" she bellowed. ----------------xxxx----------------- Mousetooth turned her head and examined the destruction. She rushed over next to Revenge, Sorrowfrost, and Wolftail. The warrior stood there, unable to move, as if her paws were frozen to the ground. She was slightly gaping, and hissing at the same time. Something pushed her side and a hard hit came to her head. "Sorrowfrost..." was the last thing Mousetooth whispered before everything disappeared.

The scene was a mess. The once joyous scene of a happy clan torn apart by Hiddenclan. Two warriors almost dead, one taken away. Robinstar shook her head. She knew what she must do. She knew the center of the action of the cats at Hiddenclan camp. Revenge. She saw the mighty cat fighting with Sorrowfrost, then with Wolftail. She watched Wolftail bring her paw down, and Revenge move. She pounced, aiming for his massive shoulders. 'Stay away from my clan, you filthy rogue!' She grabbed his scruff and tasted blood. He whimpered, then shook Robinstar off. He pinned her down. 'You don't understand, I have to do this. She will hunt us all down. If we leave... well, we can never really leave our past, now can we. Secretclan! Retreat!' Letting go of the leader, he grabbed Sorrowfrost and left. For once, there was fear and doubt in the great cat's eyes. Robinstar felt pity. Then coldness. She thought of something. Wolftail! I need someone to go to Whisperclan and check to see if Darkfur is there. I need to know. I understand what you've been through, because Shadoweyes was stolen. Remember?' She looked around at her clan. It was devastating. Scars would remain, fear instilled. She looked around, then jumped on to the Stone Hill yet again.

Wolftail nodded and turned to Mousetooth, who was coming back to reality. "Mousetooth! Go to WhisperClan and check if Darkfur's there!" Mousetooth nodded and raced out of camp. Wolftail turned to face Robinstar, "Robinstar, I have to go, I have to go save them. I'm not going to let this happen again! I couldn't do anything last time, but now I can." She raced to the entrance of camp, and before she left, she turned and said, "And I will come back. Mark my words, I will never leave my clan for good." Wolftail let out a ragged battle cry and raced off after Revenge.
((Is it ok if I have her arrive in SecretClan, trying to get Sorrowfrost back, but she'll get away if they start attacking her. And then once she's far away enough, I'll say HiddenClan Camp's entrance, she'll trip and get knocked out and forget the way to get to SecretClan... how's that sound? [by the way, she'll come back at nightfall))

((Sure!! I'll have Robinstar start to get worried about it too)) I understand. Please don't let them get you. Please. She went to her deputy and touched her nose. I'll wait until you come back to hear what happened, okay?
In the medicine cat's den, Scorchedleaf started to stir. He felt the stinging poultice of Marigold on his scratches. He lifted his head to see Starpaw standing there. 'Where is Sorrowfrost? Where is Revenge?' The poor cat looked at Starpaw with sorrow in his eyes, as if he knew the fate of his daughter. The relationship between a kid and a parent is so remarkable sometimes.
