Here are some plot ideas. I've posted them on other sites I'm on though but some haven't been used.
Plot 1:
A rogue comes in and claims that, by right of StarClan, she is the lawful leader of ALL the clans. When the clans refuse of course, she starts a siege on one of them. StarClan appears to all medicine cats and says that the clans must all live in one place if they wish to survive the siege. Grumbling, the cats move into one area. Obviously, this creates problems for leadership, finding prey, living space, etc. Five cats (from kit to leader, it doesn't matter) from each clan befriend each other through this trouble time. One cat remembers the old story of a good rogue and his band of StarClan-blessed cats. After much persuasion, the five sneak out of camp to find this good rogue. They finally find him...but no band. The rogue claims that he was the only one to survive after all these years but that they were indeed blessed by StarClan. The rogue is rather elderly and starts proclaiming that obviously the five are the new StarClan-blessed clan. They think he's senile and leave disappointed, but the StarClan Five receive dreams granting them individual strengths--intelligence, charity, perseverance, etc. and word that the old rogue died. The Five hold a short vigil and hastily come home to a land razed by civil and total war. The StarClan Five unite the Clan, but is it enough to save them from the rogue, who they then find out was the good rogue's sibling...?
Plot 2:
A rogue leader gets maimed by a patrol and declares revenge, announcing that all rogues will massacre every Clanner they see. Something similar happens to another clan. StarClan comes down to the medicine cat, telling him/her that a clan needs their assistance. At first the med. cat hesitates until the rogue band tries to assassinate the clan leaders. They each lose one life. At the same time, one clan declares war on the rogues for stealing food and killing kits, and later another clan decides to enter after a dream from StarClan. The medicine cat then goes to some loners, pleading for their strength in the war. After receiving denial from the loners, the med.cat leaves and is ambushed, only to be helped by Clan cats who later leave. A warrior follows the med. cat and a apprentice, who stays. When the three get to the Clan, it is in complete chaos. The leader was completely slain by the rogue leader, but in a rare feat, the medicine cat kills the rogue. However, the rogue's son--an even worse dictator than his father--takes control easily. The warrior, the apprentice, and the med.cat chase down the son. When it seems like the clan is lost, the loners come out of nowhere to help out, evening the odds. The med.cat was greatly injured in the battle, but after receiving healing by StarClan itself, they get better. Who will win the fight?
Plot 3
Two apprentices find two badgers--the queen dead and her cub barely alive due to being crushed under its mother without food. The air reeks of other Clan cats--on the badgers, on the border marks, and on the prey. The cub is coherent and able to speak, and he tells the apprentices that he will exact his revenge on a Clan someday after thanking them for secretly giving him assistance of food, water, and healing herbs. Meanwhile, a disabled kit in a Clan (blind, deaf, limp leg, whatever) receives a weird dream from StarClan saying that the cure to his/her ailment lies beyond the borders of the Clan territories and that two cats will appear to her and help her when she leaves for her journey. These two are from ____Clan and ____Clan, but had ancestors in that Clan long ago. Guided by a mysterious ghostly cat, the disabled kit and her two unlikely friends survive treacherous tasks (past Thunderpaths, foxes, and whatnot) but finally reach a place called Fey Den--where the badger cub from the beginning lives. The badger is not home at the time and his scent is masked by several flowers and spices. The ghost leads them here, saying that the herbs in here would cure the kit's ailment. The problem? The badger comes home and immediately recognizes the Clan scent. However, due to poor eyesight, he doesn't realize that the kit (whose parents had killed his mother) isn't the one who left him for dead. The kit's mother was pregnant at the time and the wounds she sustained caused the kit to have its ailment when it was born. In a rage, the badger attacks the cats. StarClan (or more specifically, the ghosts of the kit's parents) and SkyTribe (or more specifically, the ghost of the badger's mother) intervene in the middle of the fight, telling them that there are more important things than fighting right now. The Clan Leader, driven mad by grief and anger at the recent high badger attacks, flew into a bitter rage and attacked the Chief of the badger tribes. War is on the horizon. Can the badger cub and the kit (and her companions) overcome differences and hastily hurry home to stop the holocaust of the tribe and clan? Will the kit ever be cured? And why does this sound like a Batman episode?
Plot 4:
The Clan of the NightSky is a sect of dangerous rogues. They are different from other rogues in the area because they consider themselves to be the most loyal and blessed of StarClan. Because of this, they have drilled and trained themselves in a large war machine capable of annihilating whole Clans. Their land is situated in the mountains, where they claim to have direct contact with StarClan. Their propaganda declares that any warrior who comes to their side will be blessed with great power: a lure for any kit, apprentice, warrior, or even leader! Some of the Clans believe the NightSky Clan is a gift from StarClan, while others think the Clan should all be euthanized by Twolegs! When war breaks out between _____Clan and the NightSky, _____Clan blames ____Clan for causing trouble and disrupting peace. They ally themselves with the NightSky to fight against their rival _____Clan. The others similarly join either the NightSky or their brethren clans. However, six cats from each individual Clan realize that what they're doing is wrong and that the NightSky is actually puppeting the Clans into destroying themselves so that the NightSky can swallow up the land without any resistance. Can the five Clan cats come to trust the cat from the NightSky...or will he betray them in their darkest hour too?
